Hi Guys,
A graduate of the 2nd Medical Faculty (Tariq Kwaees) will be giving a talk about surviving as a junior doctor in the UK on the 15th November at 1.30pm in the small left lecture hall. It will be free of charge and will consist of two lectures with a break in between. Anyone wishing to work in the UK after graduating will surely find this helpful. Please note that it is intended for 5th and 6th year students only.

On Tuesday 24th May at 7.30 pm in Karolinum, there will be an opportunity to see and hear a young acclaimed cellist DOMINIKA HOŠKOVÁ. She will also be accompanied by her father Ji?í Hošek and they will present music by P. Locatelli, E. Bloch, L. Sluka, D. Popper, A. Dvo?ák and R. Schumann

Book World is a literary festival founded in 1995 and held at the Prague Exhibition Grounds. It gives the movers and shakers of the Czech literary scene a chance to meet foreign writers and discuss current trends in poetry and fiction.

Mutating Medium
Photography in Czech Art 1990–2010
Open from 10. 2. 2011 – 1. 5. 2011.
The exhibition captures the metamorphosis of photography as artistic media in the dynamic environment of the past two decades influenced by sweeping political changes and technological development aimed at mass digitalization and the democratization of image media.
This exhibition will be held in the large hall of the Rudolfinum Gallery.
